On Friday and Saturday, Phillip and I went to the Marriage Conference at Parkview. Dr. David Clarke was the speaker and we really enjoyed it! Childcare was available at church during the conference.
On Friday night the conference went until 8:30, which is REALLY late for my kids! Elizabeth didn't go to bed until 9:00pm!! She slept in until I had to wake her up at 8:05am, as the Saturday session was from 8:30 to 11:30. On Saturday afternoon, David went down for a nap right away, and Phillip and I also started to doze by 1:00, but we could hear Elizabeth getting out of her bed and getting books. I put her back in her bed and took the books and told her it was bedtime twice. Phillip also went in and told her to go to bed. We were both so tired though and around 2:00 couldn't stay awake anymore. I woke up once thinking I heard her trying to open her door, but decided I had just dreamed it and went back to bed. I woke up for good at 3:15 to David getting in bed with me, but didn't hear Elizabeth. Finally, at 4 I went in to wake her and found this... Phillip set up the tripod and took a picture. I am not really sure when she did nap in Saturday!

I have no idea what she was doing with the drawer! I wish I had set up a camera :)
She isn't even two and we have so many battles!

Sylvia walked up to my bed and woke me up after her nap today. I quickly realized that meant she had let herself out of her room since Dan wasn't home. So, we went to Target tonight and bought door knob covers so she can't let herself out again.
She is a LOT like Abigail. :) We were tired too that weekend, I hope not too many people saw us yawning so much at the conference! Glad you got some rest, I am sure that is few and FAR between!!
