Preschool Fall Fun

In September Grandpa Herman got to come from Grandparents Day.  Elizabeth made cookies and wrote Grandpa a note inviting him to come.  She was her usual quiet self, but I know she was thrilled to have her Grandpa there!  Afterward, I picked them up and got to take Grandpa out for lunch!  It was a special day.  I don't ever remember when it is Grandparent's Day though without preschool's help!
Elizabeth got to take her first field trip of the year.  She enjoys riding on the bus and enjoyed the hike that they took.  I wished I could go with her, like I did last year, but working in the mornings this year doesn't allow me to get in on any of the fun preschool outings!  Next year, I can't wait to volunteer weekly in her class in kindergarten.
Sitting with Greyson on the bus.  She talks about him a lot.

It was a VERY cold and windy day, but just a few days before it was in the 70s.  Elizabeth had a hat, but we forgot to send mittens.  And it was cold!  It was cute because she was very proud that morning that she was wearing pink from head to toe.  Even her down to her underclothes!
Back at school building and playing cars.  I don't know if it is because she has a brother or if she just likes those toys better, but she LOVES to play with cars and to build Legos, buildings, etc.  She does like to play dolls and dress up, but she REALLY likes her cars.  Of course, she does expect them to be pink and purple!
