More Kindergarten

Mrs. Smith - BEST EVER kindergarten teacher, besides Aunt Alicia, of course!

Me: So remember, you get into the room and you put your lunchbox in the basket, put your water bottle in the basket at your table, make your lunch choice, and then sit down and get to work at your spot.  The morning time is not a time for monkey business, okay?
David: Okay, Mom.
Me: So let's say one of your friends walks in the classroom and asks you to go play toys.  What should you say?
David: (with lots of enthusiam) YES!!!

Oh my... I don't think he has the kindergarten routine yet, but I do know he is making LOTS of friends and is having LOTS of fun!!!!   The funny part is then when we got to school he made his lunch choice and got right to work and he was so proud, but he forgot to take out the lunchbox and water bottle... so many things to remember!  It is hard being a kindergartener sometimes.
