The 4th of July

We truly are thankful to be in the United States and we understand that freedom costs. We are thankful for our cousin Shawn who is currently serving in Iraq. The kids had so much fun going to the fireworks two nights in a row, complete with the Coralville parade too! We got to spend a lot of time with the Kapfer's and hang out with our friends from Iraq- their first 4th in the States!
Putting on glow bracelets - a must for the 4th :)

Elizabeth and Jonah watching with Daddy

At the Jazz fest listening to great music before the fireworks. The music was phenomenal!!

Elizabeth and Grandma - her shirt says "Grandma's Little Firecracker"

Jill (mother to Naomi, Jonah, and Abbie) and Me

Wish I knew how to take a better picture sometimes :)

Sparkler fun

My mom with Sabba from Iraq
