At Aunt Siu and Uncle Frank's church they do an outreach called "Trunk-or-treat" and they fill the church parking lot with cars with the trunks open and then invite neighborhood families to come and get treats from everyone's trunk. They had a fire pit in the middle of the circle for roasting marshmallows, a place to take pictures, hot apple cider, popcorn, and a live band! The kids had lots of fun, despite the cold! First, they went around to all the trunks and then they helped pass out candy! We ran out of candy three times, so many families kept coming!

It was difficult making sure Elizabeth stayed in the van and didn't fall out!
David decided to pass out candy just to the boys while Elizabeth did the girls after awhile
We had to add a coat and eventually mittens as it got closer to dark!
