Apple Orchard Trip 3 for pumpkins this time!

Two weekends ago we took our friends, Manar and Khaled and their two girls to go apple picking, pumpkin choosing, on a hay rack ride, and then to our house for dinner and pumpkin carving. They are from Jordan and Manar is a sweet friend! We met at an International hay rack ride last year and have been friends every since! My sweet friend and mentee, Stef and her fiance came too! Stef and I were both friends with Manar, but didn't know each other until recently when she approached me about mentoring her. We love to talk about marriage, what the Lord is teaching us, and are even memorizing Ephesians together! We are through chapter 1! Anyway, here are some snapshots from our weekend...
We did not find many apples - only 3 or 4!!
Trying to lift the pumpkins
Proud he found the perfect pumpkin!
Thinking about the perfect pumpkin I think
Our friends Jamana and Jana
Not quite sure what Jana is laughing at, but love how David is engaging Jamana in conversation and Elizabeth's little leggings and boots.
Posing with his perfect pumpkinElizabeth's pick
The gang with their pumpkins - notice only the oldest children are even looking :)
Manar jumped right into helping, as did Stef with Elizabeth.
This is my least favorite part of carving pumpkins. We actually only got ours cleaned out that night and Jana and Jamana's carved. We still need to carve the pumpkins in the next few days, but waiting for daddy to have time, as he is the best carver ever!
