1st Day of MWF Preschool

I am so excited for David to participate in Parkview Christian Preschool this year! I am excited for him to continue to learn how to write all the letters and for him to start to read! Although I teach as a profession, I don't get to see students learn to read, and I am so excited for David to start wanting to read Dr. Seuss!

I also LOVE all the art and themed projects they do at preschool, the time learning to listen and respect other adults besides mom/dad/grandma/aunts, and social interaction with other kids--to name a few! I was sad though that I did not get to take him to preschool, as I am working mornings this year. Daddy did a great job getting David and Elizabeth out the door with all the stuff, and even took pictures for me!

A goofy picture by the fish tank with Teddy Bear and Elizabeth. Phillip gave me the teddy bear for my birthday in 2000 and David has claimed it as his own! The students could bring a friend on the first day Looking for his name
Sitting on the "u." I called it the circle once and David was very insistent that it is a not a circle, but a "u' shape. Singing "Shake, shake you sillys (sp?) out"
I am so thankful he was excited to start and for all the friends he has in preschool! He has such a wonderful teacher, associates, and classmates! We just love all the families too!

So proud of you David Phillip! I can't wait to hear you read your first book!

Wow, I didn't know they taught reading in preschool already! I guess I am behind. :) He looks like he loves it, and no doubt will do great! I KNOW he is one smart kid!

I loved his goofy look and Elizabeth's curly hair...like mama's! I am also jealous of a Christian preschool- wish Rebekah could be in there, too!
