A few highlights from the last 24 hours...
1. Clearing out the North Liberty pool for 30 minutes, after the lifeguards put on gloves and tried to pick up floaties my child left in the pool.
2. Backing into the garage door because I gave the 2 year old the opener and she closed it before we were out of the garage.
3. Unable to get to swim lessons that start in 15 minutes because I just backed the van into the garage door and now it is stuck partway down with the van still inside.
4. Waiting outside on the front step, locked out of the house as the house key I grabbed was really to the back door, which is only accessible through a locked porch. Daddy had to come save us after he ran sound for a wedding. Remember I broke the garage door.
5. Flash flood warning, yet again, and the water is very close to going over the spillway.
6. Having to tell my husband who has a really full plate that I put two more dents in the van, as well as break a garage door that he is still outside fixing right now at 9:20 at night time.
So who is keeping me company? :)

oh my word andrea- i'm so sorry all that happened. crazy!
Oh, what an awful string of events! SO sorry all of this happened:( I can't even come close to all that, but I sure feel for you! Hope tomorrow is a much better day!
I've got nothing compared to that. Jonah stepped in his own pile of poop on Friday (with both feet), but that's not as bad as your van and garage door. Bummers. At least everyone is safe and sound.
Oh, Andrea!!! Maybe that Josh just had to re-install the car antenna for the 2nd time today since I have broken it off TWICE in the same car wash!!!! And, I had to fish out a marker lid from a poopy potty this afternoon while keeping Luke from doing the same and babysitting a 3rd child!
I think that I would have flushed that marker lid down the toilet!
A couple of weeks ago, I came up the stairs and it smelled horrible. Abbie had used the bathroom and not flushed (several times) and had thrown a small toy and a sucker in the toilet. I flushed it all down, no way was I going to dig out that toy. I think she must have mistaken the toilet for the garbage can that day!
em- next time flush that lid girl! :)
