David gets to celebrate his birthday at preschool today! My baby boy is almost 4 years old. He also gets to take his valentine's that he wrote his name on 19 times with only a little help when he got tired. Mrs. Fink encouraged us to do 5 a night and that was a HUGE help! He also got to take a tractor and wagon, combine, and a car as it is his share day for his birthday. Needless to say, he was excited to go to preschool this morning!Yesterday, David, Elizabeth, my mother, and I took on red velvet cupcakes. One bleeding hand (Elizabeth poked herself hard with a toothpick) one exploded potato (made a huge mess in the oven so we couldn't do the cupcakes right away), many frosting mishaps (the top kept coming off the frosting bottle), one mistake (totally left out the baking soda and vinegar), and one big mess later this is the final project. They do not look exactly like the picture I posted earlier, but David loves them!

Those look fabulous...I'm impressed. Abbie just finished up her Valentines as well. She tackled the project of writing everyone's names on theirs so it took a long time, but she finally finished! Our kids are getting so big!
Those look like they turned out awesome! Thanks for sharing the pic. I couldn't wait to see them. I wonder why the lid kept popping off. I have never had that happen before. I'm sorry, that figures! :(
