My mom got us tickets to eat breakfast at the Mariott. Santa and Mrs. Claus were there, as well as Miss Iowa. It was a fundraiser for the hospital. When we first got there they wanted us to take a picture with Santa. Both kids were very scared and wouldn't even look at him so I didn't even try to put them on his lap. Then during breakfast David said he wanted to sit on Santa's lap. So we tried a second time. David took a great picture, but Elizabeth was bawling! Then at the very end we were decorating sugar cooks and Elizabeth said, "Santa." I asked her if she wanted to sit on his lap, and she said yes. So we tried, for a third time! Elizabeth was still nervous so Santa told me to sit down. Elizabeth gave him an evil look the whole time! They took the picture of Elizabeth crying, and the great one of David so I need to scan them into the computer... but here is the one of all of us :) Thanks mom for a wonderful Saturday morning!

That is so cute!! What a fun morning. Abbie is upset because Santa doesn't bring her presents. I have tried to explain that she will still get presents, they just don't come from Santa, but she's still not happy with me! :)
