For Derrica

Here is our Christmas tree decorated and with presents. I have a fettish about wrapping presents. I ABSOLUTELY love it! I love praying for the person as I wrap, I love picking out the perfect paper, tying the bow just right, adding bells when needed, and finding my favorite gift tag. I love thinking about how much fun I had picking out the present and anticipating the joy the receiver will have it opening it. As a mother, I truly identify with the verse that talks about how our heavenly Father LOVES to give us gifts! I am so thankful for that first Christmas, for the ultimate gift... God in flesh... dwelling the middle of our junk... born to die... for you and for me. I pray my children will fully understand the gift of Jesus. I am amazed at how I continue to understand it in new ways every year.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
