On Saturday Phillip ran sound for a wedding. The kids and I went with my mom to an afternoon and evening for Internationals put on by some very servant focused people. The kind of people you never see up front on a Sunday, but you know they will stand before Jesus and hear a well, well done GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT!!! They are such godly men and women and so freely give of their time to serve these Internationals WITH SUCH JOY! We sang songs like Old MacDonald, roasted hot dogs and marshmallows, played games, and went for a hayride. The kids were loved by everyone. Unfortunately, my two are not the best at being friendly. People would just come and pick Elizabeth up and she honestly gave them the ugliest faces. All of their toys were a hit though as there were 4 other children!

The Whittoff's dog and farm -they followed the puppy around everywhere!

It was a little chilly that day, but lots of fun! We provided blankets for all, as well as the only toys. My mom is always so prepared!!!

It was a little stressful at the front because Elizabeth is so independent and wouldn't sit still and David was curious about everything, but there was wide open under the railing and I kept having visions of David falling off and the farmer not hearing us and rolling over him. The young guy next to David wanted him to sit on his lap so bad, but David would not cooperate.

The Lord put the girl in black next to my mom on her flight back from China. After talking she found out she was going to Iowa City! The one in white is her roommate. They are each getting their PHD. One in hydroelectric engineering, one in molecular biology. The one in the brown coat as a 4 1/2 year old son back at home. She is here for 5 months. She is already a professor, but continuing education in some classes.

This little girl is my highlight. She is Hannah, or something similiar :) There was one muslim family there and we got to chat a lot! I have Manar's phone number and hope to develop more of a friendship! Manar has a 18 month old (picture) and a 3 year old! The girls are adorable! The dad (in the picture) is a doctor here. They recently moved from Jordan. The mom wears a head covering and the dad went outside and did his prayers twice that I saw.
