Let the parties begin!

We were not going to do a "friend party" this year due to lots of energy put into the first two parties... silly I know... but I LOVE throwing a party! However, a friend called last night to say she couldn't do playgroup and wanted to know if we wanted to switch. Since I had leftover cupcakes from the ones I made for Valentine's Day for my fourth graders, I decided why not throw a little party! So last night at 8:00ish I decided David was having a friend party after all! All due to my mother's help by party time the clothes were clean, the floors washed, the toys put away, sugar cookies were cut into shapes, frosted, and sprinkled, the cupcakes were decorated, lemonade was made, and the grapes were washed. We had a great party and are VERY thankful for David's friends! Kaelia and Delaney even put off going to grandpa's for a few hours for us- SO SWEET! Yet, due to two friends vomiting, two friends whose mom was the at the doctors, two friends with high fevers we had a small friend birthday party for the 2nd year in a row! The kids had a great time though and David made sure everyone got their tattoos on their hand right when they arrived.
