A couple of weeks ago we got to take the kids to the Quad Cities area to buy a car for Phillip. His trusty truck (which Scott Sterner blessed him with) from the last couple of years needed over 800 dollars to keep running so we decided it was time for a new car. Phillip has faithfully been looking online every night for a steal and finally find one. I will have to post the picture sometime soon. It is a black Honda Civic. Unfortunately, it is a manual and I do not know to drive one, but I am sure I will learn soon! It is a cute car (I am sure he will not approve of the word "cute" when describing his new car) and Phillip did get a great deal!
Anyway... while in Bettendorf, we went to the Family Museum. It was like a science museum and the Children's museum all in one. It even had an outdoor water area, that David loved! Here are some pics from that day.
