Hospital pictures

David LOVES to give Elizabeth kisses and touch her hair, but we have stopped the eye poking, shoving the pacifier in her mouth, and bouncy her hard when she is in her vibrator, at least I hope we have stopped that type of "helping" mommy. He happily gets diapers for her and runs and gets her pacifier though. He will be such a great big brother when she can actually smile back and see toys that he gets for her. He often makes me nervous his play with her right now, but I can't wait until they can really start to play and laugh together!

Meeting Elizabeth for the first time.
We had Elizabeth "give" David some special tractors and wagons when he first met her to help the transition. I think it worked as he kept thanking Elizabeth for the tractors and wanting to kiss her.

All cleaned up after her first bath. Isn't she a cutie?!

Elizabeth spent hardly anytime in the nursery as we were only at the hospital for 38 hours. I couldn't believe how quickly we were in and out this time. Next time I am going to try for an early morning baby so I can have an extra 14 to 18 hours at the hospital to rest!

Here is one of the few times she is awake! David gets so excited when she is awake, especially since it doesn't happen very often. He yells, "sissy awake now, sissy awake."
