The morning of Elizabeth's Birthday

 For Elizabeth's birthday she got a few crafts, new clothes, a new tu tu, and some books.  We had a special breakfast that morning, but then she had preschool.  She cried on the way to preschool because she did not want to share anything.  When it is your special day, you are the special helper and bring a toy to share.  Most kids are excited for their share day and can't wait.  Elizabeth dreads it.  I think it is so good that she practicing it now though and it is giving her a safe place to practice talking in front of people!  That afternoon I still had to work, but went and got her early.  We did one of her crafts and ate an easy dinner outside.  It was lovely!
