First Day of Kindergarten

Elizabeth wanted to support David and wore her backpack too as we walked David to school. I thought for sure she would throw a fit and refuse to leave, but she did great.

Mama's big 'ole sloppy kiss! Good thing I can walk down the hall any day and check on him. I was not a "helicopter parent" though as I did not linger and "hover" but after we gave him loving entrusted him to Mrs. Smith. So thankful he is LOVING kindergarten and he is learning how to "do school." We are working on when are appropriate times to be silly with friends and what are appropriate ways to be silly, but I think he is getting it after a few days :)
