On Thursday, we began the Halloween festivities by walking across the street to some sweet neighbors. We found out on Thursday that we were going to Chicago on Friday so we decided to say hi to the neighbors Thursday night. Then we got to meet the Kampman's and the Dickenson's to trick-or-treat at a retirement home close to us and bless the elderly and let the kids play games and get some treats!

Getting ready to go to the neighbors

Elizabeth - fairy David - Broby (sp?) From Yo Gabby (we have not seen the show, but so many little kids got excited when they say David and knew his name we decided we need to go to the library and see if we can find a DVD of it! He picked it out at Stuff for $5 just cause he thought it was a "nice" green monster. It is a 3T and ripped a little so it won't be seen again!

My pumpkins! (Notice no actual pumpkins - they were supposed to be carved on Saturday, but found out we were going to Chicago last minute, so another year. The kids still haven't asked about them and we are hoping they didn't realize we didn't get to carve in 2010 :) )

Very cute! I love costumes of things the kids don't know about! Kind of like when I picked out Mickey Mouse glasses for Luke...a character he knew nothing about! It then piqued his interest and he now recognized Mickey everywhere!
Anyway, the kids look great- hope you had fun in Chicago!
Love these! Very cute in their costumes:)
Thanks for telling me Andrea! I just love all the beautiful pictures. My favorite is the "my sweet sweet girl" picture.
