Praise the Lord we endured a 18 hour van ride to Myrtle Beach, SC, a 7 hour ride to Richmond, VA, and then a 16 hour ride home! David did FANTASTIC! We watched movies, read books, colored, played with cars, and slept. Elizabeth did a great job too, but had a few "losing it moments." She also read a lot, watched movies, played with polly pockets, and loved to color while driving. She kept saying "mama carry you, carry you!" louder and with more intensity the longer into the trip. Thank you for praying! It really was a wonderful trip! We are so blessed!

Each time we went to the pier someone was catching a shark. This one was only 2 feet long, but we could see the shadow of a 4-5 foot one a few times when people were cleaning fish! We also saw 7 sting rays swimming together in a v and a jelly fish!

Looks like so much fun! Glad the kids did so well in the car, even if Elizabeth had a very issues. For as much as you drove, that's pretty great!
I really love seeing E throw sand and your crazy cute swimsuit!! I was also freaked out by the shark thing...that was in swimming waters, right? Ick!!!
