Thank you God

Today the kids and I were in a car accident. My 3rd in our van. I am ready to stop driving forever. Praise the Lord no one was hurt in either car. Also, praise the Lord, the other car was not damaged at all, despite the LOUD crunching noises when we hit. The van received two minor scrapes. We were stopped at a light, both turning right. The light turned green and I started coasting, and then reached for a sippy cup for Elizabeth. The car in front was on a cell phone and stopped and I hit it, but not going more than 5 miles per hour. David immediately asked if we could call a tow truck. I was too upset to laugh at the time! The other driver was very kind and he made sure that his car was okay. This morning in my quiet time I was reading about how important it is to be grateful to the Lord and to tell other people. So I am telling you how thankful I am to the Lord that He protected all of us.

An hour later David was choking on ice and I had to do the Hemlich to get it out. He was screaming and the Lord took care of us again. He was really shook up about it and wanted to pray about it tonight a few times.

What a night. Thank you Lord for your provision, your protection, and your grace that is sufficient to make it through each day. Your timing is always right Lord.

Thank God you are all ok! Scary stuff, both the wreck and the choking. Praise God He saw you through both of them in such great ways and that you are giving him the credit.

Glad that you're okay. I just read this entry after posting an entry about a tow truck that Abbie saw today. Glad you just had a few minor scrapes and weren't completely smashed like the car we saw.
