Wilson's Apple Orchard

The Lord gave us a glorious week and weekend! Daddy is feeling much better and we had a fantastic day! We started off the day with cinnamon rolls and coffee for mommy, then picked yummy apples, watched the Hawkeyes beat Iowa State 35 to 3, played at the Menards playground, and ended with a bike ride! Phillip took these wonderful pictures at the apple orchard. Although, neither child was into smiling much, he got some wonderful candid shots!
It's that time of the year again! Getting ready to get a ride to the yummy honey crisp! It was really sunny and about 81 degrees by noon!
Picking applesThank you Aunt Becca for the princess shirt!
Love the whispies and TOTAL Herman face!
I promise there was only a couple of apples in the bucket
Elizabeth kept trying to pick up all the apples from the ground... the ones with worms
Stuffing her mouth
Notice the child doing all the work
Both the kids love apples!
Little spunk sitting on the table and knowing she shouldn't be.She worked on this apple for at least an hour!
Getting to enjoy a yummy apple turnover also!

Those are some sweet faces. E looks so big (yet tiny)! I remember R doing the same thing at the same age! I also loved seeing YOUR face!

Child labor laws? :) My kids will not eat apples...although they love applesauce. I think that just makes them lazy!
