The farm

On Friday the kids went with my mom to Aunt Sharon and Uncle Gene's farm! Sharon had all of her kids and grandkids home for the week, which is impressive as they are in Washington, Michigan, Des Moines, and the farm down the road! Even though the kids are all second cousins they had so much fun! David and Elizabeth don't have much hope for first cousins anytime soon so these cousins are especially fun for them! My Uncle Gene redid a barn and made the top into a a HUGE kids playhouse/loft. It is complete with remote control cars, pulley system, roller blades, boom box, basketball hoop, Tyke cars, and more! Natalie is probably the most creative cousin. She is a farm girl and literally knows how to fun with nothing but a piece a string! She and the other girls conncocted this "how down" and hung signs everywhere requesting the grown ups to attend. It was a hoot!
Natalie the star performer... she was our flower girl at 4!!!
Apparently David got in the dancing was crazy on Friday night, but not so much when I was there on Saturday night! Notice all the dust specks :)
Uncle Josh with David and Ryan (from Seattle)
Sweet cousins!
Not sure about the slow dance with Josh (notice the fun little barn up top. The kids love climbing the ladder and then throwing anything down!!
Cousins - Katie, Natalie, Rachel, and Emily - all from different families except Katie and Emmy are twins!
Wonderful Grandma!
My dad and I picked up Aunt Becca and went to see my grandpa in the hospital on the way. I don't think he is doing much better on a side note. He really is having moments of being unresponsive. We don't know if he is giving up, or unable to communicate, or just tired. My mom had told Becca to stay at college and meet people, but I told her I would pick her up and brought her anyway :) She was a HUGE help with the kids and we had missed her! However, in this picture Elizabeth is sad just cause she wanted me!! Like the new headband? I am hoping for a better picture with the flower soon! I just need the right outfit :)
