Praise the Lord, Phillip had his appointment today and it is ALL GOOD! He is healing nicely now and seems to be able to breathe better. He is also cancer free, as the doctor suspected! Thank you Lord! Phillip has been quite the trooper!! He has slept in his lazy boy (thanks mom and dad) sitting up all night long without complaining, has still even continued to serve us by taking out the trash, playing with the kids, picking up toys, and even made dinner a couple of times despite the surgery!! Daddy is the man!! The first couple of days were incredibly rough as he was very sensitive to sounds and light and in a A LOT of pain, but since Friday he has improved remarkably. We are thankful for the extra days we got to have him home! We are also thankful for good insurance that made it all possible! And due to his 70 hour work week, the week before surgery and working Tuesday and Friday the week after the surgery, he didn't even need to take time off!!!
Daddy's morning wake up call. He has been in the living room as our bedroom is not very big to fit the recliner, so it is hard to let him sleep in the morning! David is actually smiling in this picture which is unusual for my son. He did however request the picture so maybe that is the difference!! If only I could always get him to request pictures :)
