Praise the Lord

I think Elizabeth is almost all better! After 9 days of waterlike stools and some vomiting she is back to eating today! I am sure she has some weight to gain back and will be eating a lot in the next couple of days. :) Today is her last day of pedilyte and then I am hoping all will return to normal.

Of course, it will take a couple of days to get her to not want to be held ALL the time and to play independently. Also, since being sick she has started throwing fits of crying and throwing herself on the ground when we don't understand her or choose to not give her what she wants. Oh my goodness she is fiesty!

I know the top teeth are doing some moving and maybe sleeping through the night won't last for very long, but I am thankful for our 1st night of uninterrupted sleep in 2 weeks! Thank you Jesus! You knew I could not take one more night!

There were some blessings that came from her sickness too! As she could not have milk, she is officially done with the bottle. Weaning her from the before-bed-bottle really wasn't bad, as she was so sick she would fall asleep pretty easily, and then be up all night! Also, it made me VERY thankful for David being potty trained as her bottom was so raw from all the diapers! Moreover, her sickness got daddy to go on walks with us as anything was better than staying in the house and listening to her cry for 9 days straight!

I am sure we are not through sicknesses in our house, but that was one of the most draining we have had so far ever! Thank you Lord again for your provision! Thank you for your many prayers, as well!
