Today David wanted to do the vacuuming, so of course eager to teach my son cleanliness, I let him vacuum! He used the attachment that is a small vacuum on the hose. He was very methodical and went to EVERY room and really did a great job! He kept stopping when he would get to a toy or something on the floor and said, "mom, I am looking for a good helper, want to help me mom?" "Don't forget that one there too." "Thanks, mom! That was so kind to help me!" "Will you move the heater, please?"
Hmm, so that is what I sound like. I am just enjoying his eagerness to help out right now. I am sure vacuuming will become a chore someday. He is also WONDERFUL at starting the dishwasher and emptying the silverware. I know daddy is counting down the years until he can take out the trash. :)
