Christmas Bows

I do not consider myself an artistic person... quite the opposite actually! Scrapbooking and creativeness in the middle of a lesson at school are usually my only outlets.
I have no idea why, but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE wrapping gifts! I get so excited about the right paper to fit the receiver of the gift, tying the bow just right, adding jingling bells and whatever else went on sale the year before!
I always wrap according to our Christmas decorations, so blue and silver this year. It was hard to find blue paper leftover on sale last year, but I did find one roll I liked! I try to tie many different types of bows as I can, yes two are premade bows, but I did most of them! I started with David during Elizabeth's morning nap and then continued in the afternoon during his nap.

Which brings me to another thought... I have no idea how it happened, but the kids are only overlapping naps by 15 min or so. Elizabeth is napping from 8:45ish to 11:15ish and then David goes down at 12:15ish and then she goes down at 2:00ish and then he is awake at 2:15ish! It is driving me crazy as it was when I worked out. I tried doing it with her, but she just follows my feet and then holds on to my pants and whines. Not too excited about a 5:30 am workout. After the holidays and break I will have to work to get her to shorten her morning nap and see if that helps.

The "parcels" as they say here are just lovely!!!!

When did E start crashing in the ams? They sure keep us on our toes, eh? Luke is sleeping a lot less now, but I LOVE it b/c even so he is happier and since he has been so fussy, I am psyched to see his real personality come out!

Wow...I never knew you did such fancy wrapping. I would love to do it, but just don't take the time to do it. My kids are lucky to get any paper on theirs at all. In fact, considering the economic situation, they're lucky to get anything! And I second Keri's thought, how do you keep the kids out of those?

I am so super impressed. I want my packages to look like that but I am honestly too lazy to take the time to do it. I am not showing my kids your pretty presents. :)

Great job!

oh my goodness! Very impressive! We have blue and silver as well. I too like to coordinate the wrapping paper and bows, but this year the bows aren't staying on since Abigail pulls them off and wears them! It just isn't a battle I like to fight, so the bows stay off. My bows aren't as beautiful and tasteful as yours though! :)
