What a husband!

Thank you all for your prayers this week. It was a challenging week at school, but God is faithful and the kids really are great. I am excited to get to know them all better.

Things at home this week were pretty tough as Elizabeth is not into sleeping lately. With all three of her naps together she sleeps less than David's one 2 1/2 hour to 3 hour nap. However, Phillip has been so good and supportive! My husband is always very sensitive and sweet, but I do appreciate the extra sacrifices! Last night he brought me some special delicious ice-cream. He also took us all out for ice-cream on Tuesday night. He did extra chores around the house and even came home for a little while to get Elizabeth to sleep for me yesterday after I called him bawling! (I think he was fearing for her life)

Oh my... she just woke up again... it has only been 45 min. and her morning one was only 30 min... I never had this problem with David so it is taking quite some getting used to. We have trying to let her "cry it out" for a week now, but she is very strong willed. I am thankful for my daughter though and I know that God's grace is always sufficient! I have added some pictures of my precious to remind me how good God is!

Thank you again to my wonderful hubby for keeping me sane right now and sacrificially serving our family so humbly!
A typical silly faceEnjoying her new swing from Grandma and Grandpa Herman
Getting ready to crawl, but hopefully not as soon as David I love her big blue eyes!
Who can resist a toothless grin!

P.S. I think now that I am done with this entry she has gone back to sleep... it only took 4 times putting in the pacifier and one re-swaddling--that is progress! Thank you Lord for my children and for your grace and what you are teaching me through all of this!

Jonah is the exact same way. He is not a great sleeper and I am exhausted. We have decided that he is healthy enough now to "cry it out" so we are struggling through that. I suppose the second children just don't want to miss out on the fun by sleeping!

I still faithfully believe in 3 tries to sleep - meaning 3 rebinkied/shrink-wrapped to get to sleep.
