This past Thursday and Friday we got to go to Tulip Time with our friends Jill, Abbie and Jonah
Kapfer, as well as Aunt Becca, Aunt Alicia, Grandma and Grandpa. We had a blast! The kids loved playing together and the weather was lovely. We enjoyed the many dutch treats, greasy food, parade, street cleaners, dutch dancers and of course the tulips. For those of you who don't know, Tulip Time happens annually the first week of May in
Pella, Iowa. I went to college in
Pella at Central College so it is fun to go back. I saw one of favorite professors and my college roommate, Emily too! We even ran into a friend from high school, Jennie
Wunderlich, who really is Dutch. Her mom, Andrea
Balmer, is a former Tulip Time Queen. If you ever find yourself wondering what to do the first week of May I HIGHLY recommend going to Tulip Time!

Getting in some cuddle time with mommy :)

Holding our new bundle of joy

Our friend Andrea Balmer, former Queen--still as lovely as ever, on the bottom far right of the float (I have no idea how to use commas and dashes correctly)

Enjoying some of the good food-chocolate covered strawberries were a favorite!

Dutch dancers with their wooden shoes!

Our pumpkin in her first outfit that wasn't a sleeper!
